Finding #1 — Listings Scoring 80+ Get 2.3× More Views

Sellers whose AI-generated listings scored 80 or above reported an average 2.3× increase in views within the first 30 days compared to their previous manually-written listings. The top 18% of listings — those scoring 90–100 — averaged 312 views in the first month with a 4.1% conversion rate. Listings below 60 averaged just 71 views and a 1.1% conversion rate. The top emotional triggers: gift-giving language appeared in 78% of high-score listings, uniqueness signals like "one-of-a-kind" or "handcrafted" in 71%, personal connection phrases in 64%, aspirational language in 61%, and urgency or scarcity signals in 43%. Etsy is an emotional marketplace. Listings that speak to why someone buys — not just what they're buying — consistently outperform feature-only descriptions.
